Dear GEMS World Academy Families,

Our Spring 2017 Conferences (March 30-31) are coming up in a few weeks! Our conferences are a time where parents/guardians, students, and teachers can meet to discuss progress, units of inquiry, and potential areas of growth.

Please note that we will have a half-day on Thursday, March 30 (lunch time dismissal - lunch is not served) and no school on Friday, March 31 to accommodate for these conferences. All after-school enrichment programs are not scheduled for both March 30 and 31. Please see below for your student dismissal time on March 30:

• 11:10 - 11:25 a.m: Second/Third/Sixth Grade Dismissal
• 11:40 - 11:55 a.m: Fourth/Fifth Grade Dismissal
• 11:50 - 12:05 p.m: Preschool/Junior Kindergarten Dismissal
• 12:00 - 12:15 p.m.: Kindergarten/First Grade Dismissal
• 12:40 - 1:00 p.m: Seventh/Eighth School Dismissal

The library will be open on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. - 4 p.m., as well as on Friday at 8 a.m. for childcare with Mrs. Charles and Ms. Lind, should you need to supervision assistance during your conferences. (Childcare is for GEMS students only, during allotted conference time.) Please note that all students should be in attendance to your Spring 2017 Conferences, and childcare is intended to siblings who are waiting for their families to complete conferences.
